The EYFS / Birth - 5 Matters

At Station House Nursery we work closely with the Birth - 5 Matters to follow each child's learning and development which covers the 7 Areas of Learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage, over 6 age ranges:

*Personal, Social and Emotional Development
*Communication and Language
*Physical Development
*Mathematics
*Literacy
*Understand the World
*Expressive Art and Design

On starting, a Baseline assessment will be made by Parents/ Carers and Practitioners and this working document will be updated at regular intervals across their time at nursery. Their 'Birth - 5 Development Matters' document can be requested at any time and shared with parents/carers via Tapestry after each of their child's Focus Weeks (In the Moment Planning).
